Stargate SG1: Unleashed The Adventure Game – New Details

So, you may recall my most recent post “Stargate SG1: Unleashed The Adventure Game

Well, I have some new details about upcoming video game. New York Times best selling author Bryan Davis, who happens to be my favorite author, and his daughter, authoress Amanda L. Davis, both made the outlining storyline for this new game, then it was turned over to Sally Malcolm, author of many Stargate books, to write the full script and to make it cannon with the series.

This game is produced by Darren Thomas, who is also working on a proposed movie to Rasing Dragons by Bryan Davis.

Stargate SG1: Unleashed The Adventure Game is said to be released March 7th for iOS and Android.

Stargate SG1: Unleashed The Adventure Game

My favorite television series is Stargate: SG1. I like it so much, that I decided to make a Stargate Quotes WordPress Plugin about it (and it’s two spin off series’).

Now, my favorite game studio, Rocketsnail games, announced they are making an Adventure game called “Stargate SG1: Unleashed

For the past couple months I have been working with MGM Studios and Arkalis Interactive on the new Stargate SG1: Unleashed Adventure Game. As a huge fan of the Stargate series, I was thrilled to meet MGM and pitch my vision for an episodic adventure games. I look forward to sharing more as we prepare to launch the game.

I hope to be covering more news about this upcoming game as it comes out, because I am VERY excited about it!

Here is a teaser trailer, by Rocketsnail Games, about “Stargate SG1: Unleashed”

Update:
It appears that Rocketsnail Games is NOT the game studio behind this game. But, it sounds as if Lance Pribe, owner of Rocketsnail Games, was part of the production of Stargate SG1: Unleashed.

Gateworld reports that the game will be released March 7 for iPhone and iPad, with a Android version coming at a later date.

Changes

Hello, everyone!

You may have noticed the “Happy New Years!” message on my website when you came here the last few days. I have been doing some changes, that I thought I would tell you about.

Over Christmas, I was in a political debate with my cousin about various topics, and I brought up my personal boycott of Microsoft, and I told her the reasons why I have boycotted them. The main reason, in short, is they have been using their company and it’s money for something it isn’t designed for. But, that is not what this post is about.

While I was in this conversation, I realized something. I originally made this website for web design. That’s what I want a future carrier in. But, at the same time, I have been using it to post my personal and political views. How am I any different then the company I have boycotted?

So, I decided to put up that “Happy New Years” message, so I could move some things around. I now have three blogs on this server. This one for tech and web design. I will be posting my opinions about various tech and web design news, and [hopefully] reviews.

Then I have my Personal Blog. That is where I will post my personal views, political views, and anything else that crosses my mind.

Lastly, I have my Archives area. These posts are older posts of mine, that I thought I didn’t want to move to my new “personal blog.” Some of them because I thought they were childish, some because I have changed my opinion about that topic, and others because they are just no longer relevant.

And the last change I have done is not really related to my blog. But, I have decided to discontinue my http://prgl.tk/ URL shortener. The reason being, WordPress has a built-in wp.me URL shortener, that stays the same, no matter how much the URL changes.

Please note that all already-shortened URL’s on prgl.tk will stay up. I am jut not allowing anyone to shorten new URL’s with the service. I would like to thank YOURLS and it’s creator(s) for making such a wonderful service, and I would gladly use it again, should I decide to start a new shortener.

Thank you, everyone.

Stargate Quotes 1.5 (and 1.5.1)

Hello, everyone!

Yesterday (and today) I updated my Stargate Quotes plugin!

Here are the recent changes:

Version 1.5

  • Tested up to WordPress version 3.4.2 – I never relesed Version 0.4.

Why? I have no clue. IN fact, I thought I had. Version 1.5 is basically 0.4, but with some minor changes (see below)

  • Changed from 0.x Version tags to 1.x Version tags

I originally thought it would be best to go from 0.1 all the way up to 1.0. I changed my mind. So, now I’m using 1.5 all the way to ∞

  • Changed Plugin URI

The page for the plugin has change URL’s… so, I changed the plugin URI.

Version 1.5.1

  • Fixed unexpected Astrix on line 20

Kind of self explanatory. There was an extra Astrix in my coding… don’t know where it came from…

  • Fixed unexpected T_STRING on line 64

I don’t exactly know what this means, but I found that I had some quotes outside of their boundaries. I was abloe to use the Hello Dolly plugin to figure out what was wrong.

  • Becuase of unexpected T_STRING, there are now three more quotes, that were supposed to be in version 0.4

Because I found those extra quotes, that means there are three new quotes in this version!

Thats about it. If you want to know where to download the Stargate Quotes plugin, head over to the Stargate Quotes page!

Thanks, everyone!

Oh… and, does anyone know of a good SVN program for Ubuntu? I don’t like KDESVN
